Overview

Leo’s Tutoring Services is an online tutoring service built to support students through personalized, structured, and approachable learning. My goal is simple: help students understand what they’re learning, not just complete assignments.

I currently offer:

• K–5 English and Math tutoring

• ELL (English Language Learning) support for all ages

Sessions are held online, one-on-one, and designed to meet each student where they are academically. Whether a student needs reinforcement, clarification, or confidence, every session is built around their individual learning needs.

This service was created to be accessible, affordable, and genuinely helpful, especially for families looking for consistent academic support outside of school.

I’ve helped my younger brother, classmates, and friends with schoolwork over the years,  especially in English, History, and Math. While English and History are my strongest subjects, I’m also very comfortable and capable in Math.

What led me to start tutoring wasn’t just the need for income, but also the understanding that learning doesn’t look the same for everyone. With the way classrooms and lessons are set up, individual learning styles can get overlooked. Which is where I come in.

I’m not here to do the jobs of teachers. I’m here to support students by helping them understand the concepts they're being taught, build confidence, and feel more capable in their learning.

My Tutoring Approach

My philosophy is that every student learns differently, and I believe tutoring should reflect that. For that reason my  sessions are structured and organized, adaptable to each student’s needs, and focused on comprehension, not memorization.

How Sessions Actually Work

Sessions are one-on-one and interactive. I use information provided through registration forms to prepare for our first session, and to set a foundation that I can build off of for any future sessions.

For consistency and clarity, each session is built around the same structured template. While the session timing remains consistent, the content is customized based on the student’s needs, goals, and learning style. Below is the session template.

How Leo's Tutoring Services Was Built

Leo’s Tutoring Services was intentionally designed with structure, clarity, and ease of use in mind. The website, registration forms, scheduling process, and session flow were all built by me through the use of Google's tools, and other third-party tools. I wanted parents to have a clear, professional system that’s easy to navigate and leaves no confusion about how things work. Everything exists for a reason, to create a smooth experience for families while allowing me to focus on what matters most, tutoring.

Privacy & Information Use

I take privacy seriously and only collect information that is relevant and necessary to provide my services.

What I collect:

• Student and parent names

• Contact information

• Learning goals and academic notes

• Session history and progress notes

• A client-provided PIN for organization purposes
  
  

What I do NOT collect or store:

• Credit card numbers

• Bank information

• Payment method details
  
  

Payments are processed through a secure third-party add-on (Payable), and I do not have access to sensitive payment data. I only see whether a payment has been completed.

All records are stored securely on a spreadsheet and are used solely to improve session quality and personalization.
If a parent requests data deletion, or doesn't schedule a session in 15 days, all information will be deleted from the records.

Exception: Blacklisted clients’ names/emails are retained for enforcement purposes only. 

Payments & Third-Party Tools

To keep things simple and secure, payments and bookings are handled using  Payable and Appointment Booking, both of which integrate with my forms and spreadsheets. This ensures:

This system allows me to focus on tutoring rather than handling payments and bookings manually.
